I always like to stop at Café Hamers. Super nice staff and a great feel-good atmosphere in the café. Coffee tastes good, cake and the bagels too ;-) It's just nice that there are still such loving owner-managed shops! I can only recommend...!

So many homemade cakes - from chocolate to fruit. My recommendation is the buckwheat cake. Delicious! And then a coffee or, if you prefer, a hot chocolate with dark chocolate. A great cafe !. LG Linda

We always enjoy being at Café Hamer, in the middle of Volksdorf, in a very cozy environment and a warm atmosphere. The coffee from Elbgold is fantastic and the homemade cake is a dream - I always like to come back to you. It's great that you also offer take-away - an ideal idea for everyone who wants to enjoy a really delicious cake and coffee, especially at these difficult times! Highly recommended, don't wait - go straight there! :-)

Bestes Café in Volksdorf

I still can not believe it ... For many years, I went to Caligo at least once a week, alone, with friends or family. The service was nice, the atmosphere pleasant and the cappuccino excellent. After the change of ownership, which I regretted, I stayed with it. The atmosphere changed moderately, the service was not so friendly and the creamy milk foam on the espresso relatively thin. But on the whole things went well. On a Saturday ten days ago, however, I was not served a cappuccino (with espresso), but a milk coffee with a small hood made of milk foam. I complained about this at the bar and then got without any problems a usual strong cappuccino and thanked me for it. A week later I was - as often - in Hamer's appointment and my companion was waiting for me. I was a little late and my companion wanted to wait for me with the order. As a result, she was strongly encouraged to order, or to leave the cafe. Mind you: we have been regulars for years. When she placed her order, she was asked by a waitress (who was not even a week before), if she was the customer who complained last week. The cappuccino was perfectly fine, he could not be cooked otherwise. When I appeared shortly afterwards, I approached the manager / store manager / owner friendly. The waitress immediately intervened and there was an immediate and violent discussion which I tried to break off. The owner was suddenly loud and I then regretfully said that this was probably my last visit with him. He then answered, "Thank God." Fortunately, there are now several good cafes in Volksdorf.

Nice cafe, where soymilk is no foreign word. The pies look and taste wonderful. Gladly the vegan / lactose free offer can be extended. In fact a place where you like to stay.

After walking around here so many times, we spontaneously decided to have a coffee here. Conclusion: we will come more often now. Delicious cakes and coffee sweetened our afternoon. The atmosphere was cozy and the staff friendly. A nice alternative to the large coffee chains that you would otherwise find in many places.

Nice Café in Volksdorf with a modern, in parts lounge style, interior... Excellent coffee cakes and sandwiches served by friendly staff. Outside seating on the footpath, sheltered along the facade of the building.

Nice local café with Elbgold coffee and a delicious looking range of pastry and sandwiches. The place is spacious and not very cosy but some tables are more private.

It's a good place to stay here. BrötchenSnaks with a difference. Nice friendly staff. It was a pleasure. A pearl in Volksdorf☺
